Daniel Burack, Business Owner, President

Dan Burack has been the President and Owner of Tekoa Country Club since 2009. He and his leadership team bring a diverse background of golf-course and banquet management skills in their different roles. Each specialized in their field of expertise, adding valuable knowledge and successful personal management techniques to maximize customer satisfaction in today's changing market.

Dan has been a successful business owner and entrepreneur for more than 40 years having owned and operated several businesses. In the mid-eighties he co-founded Mr B’s Redstone Tavern a very successful restaurant and bar in East Longmeadow. That experience provided him with the knowledge and expertise of the food and beverage operation. Dan's father was an avid golfer who, over the years, belonged to three golf courses, providing Dan the opportunity to learn to play golf at an early age, as well as develop a love for the sport. In addition to Tekoa Country Club, Dan also has a thriving commercial real estate investment company.

Since purchasing Tekoa Country Club, Dan has become very active in the local community. He is past- president of the Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on the Board of Directors Executive Committee. Serves on the Board of Directors Executive Committee for the Greater Westfield Boys and Girls Club, and in 2016 was the recipient of the President Award. He also serves on the Board of Directors of WestMass Area Development Corporation, the Forest Park Zoo and is very active in the East Longmeadow Rotary Club.

Golf Pro Jim DiRico

Jim DiRico, Golf Professional

Tekoa Country Club is pleased to announce Jim DiRico as the new Head Golf Professional, joining our community with a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for the game.

Hailing from one of Western Massachusetts’ esteemed golf families, Jim brings over a decade of dedicated service from Quaboag Country Club, where he held roles as Assistant and Head Golf Professional. Additionally, he spent five rewarding years at Shaker Farms Country Club.

With a focus on creating an inclusive and enjoyable golf experience, Jim has organized club tournaments, managed outside outings, and provided thoughtful golf instruction throughout his career.

Beyond the golf course, Jim is a proud father to James, 24, and Ariana, 22. We extend a warm welcome to Jim and his family, embracing them into the Tekoa golf community.

Jim is eager to meet our members and contribute to the friendly atmosphere at Tekoa Country Club. His genuine excitement for the game and commitment to fostering connections make him a wonderful addition to our team.

Allan Young Jr., Golf Course Superintendent

Allan is born and raised in Westfield, MA where he has thrived within the small town atmosphere. He went to Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) and received this Associates in Landscape Design and Management. Along with that, Allan attended Stockbridge School of Agriculture where he studied Turf Grass Management and received his Associates degree. To finish out his education, Allan attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst (UMASS) and received this Bachelors in Plant and Soil Science. Allan has vast experience, including three years spent as the Assistant Superintendent at the Ranch, in Southwick. He also spent ten years as the Superintendent at Southwick Country Club and following that, a year at Springfield Country Club as the Assistant Superintendent.

Destiny DelMonte - Banquet Coordinator

Destiny DelMonte, Banquet Coordinator

Destiny has been working in the hospitality industry for over 15 years. She is motivated, detail oriented, and hard working. During her 15 years in the hospitality industry, she worked at the Hotel Northampton, Slainte Restaurant & Banquet, and Emma's Restaurant. She has a passion for event planning with an event planning certificate from the New York Institution for Art and Design. Destiny is excited for this new chapter at Tekoa Country Club.

Misty, Sous Chef

Misty Dudley, Sous Chef

Misty started working at Tekoa Country Club in 2016. She started as a 19th Hole Cook, was promoted the following year to a Banquet Prep Cook, and then became our Sous Chef. She studied culinary arts during her four years at Keefe Technical/Regional High School. She says that hard-work, loyalty, and determination are the ingredients for her success story.
